So what's Mote-Evolver all about?

Mote-Evolver is an indie record label looking forward. Embracing the technologies that exist and will exist while bypassing the established bloated system that has been in place for many years.

Setup in 2006 by Luke Slater, his original idea was to release music direct to you as simply as possible. It's no coincidence that the technology of the internet and the technology involved with music are as valid as each other and can work hand in hand and here at Mote-Evolver we embrace all the technology available to get the music straight to you and into your ears as hassle free as possible and are constantly looking to the cutting edge to move things forward. We decided that we wanted to deliver two types of media to you. The First is downloadable files. The Second Vinyl.

You'll find that all downloads from Mote-Evolver are not copy protected or have any kind of DRM technology. DRM and anti-piracy coding is a waste of time because we believe and know that this protection can easliy be bypassed . Mote-Evolver offers a range of file formats for each release being Full Range WAV and AIFF,Best Quality MP3 and Apples AAC. The full quality WAV and AIFF files are 44.1khz 16bit files equalling CD quality. The trust is that even though we know some people will distribute files over P2P sharing a majority of you will actually purchase and not share tracks. After all, why give away something special you found and paid for? Doing this only destroys the label and the musicians and thus kills small labels like us leaving only the majors in control. Please support us honestly.

If like us you are also a vinyl lover,this can also be bought online and delivered to your front door and each Mote-Evolver vinyl pressing is a limited press with full packaging.
