The ‘Poni EP’ kicks off with the rippling beats of ‘Flame’, through it’s slow, measured build up and underlying dark force, driving the track through to completion, as A. Mochi gradually throws in the beats. ‘Blackend’ drills into your brain from the onset, releasing its choppy beats and deep bass tones to great effect. A beast for the dancefloor. Lastly the title track ‘Poni’ clip-clops into view, showing off A. Mochi’s depth of skill. The landscape is lighter, but still retains those dirty trademark beats.
